Soft, creamy Burrata Cheese on toasted sourdough with oven-roasted black figs, wild flower honey & JORGE Fig-infused Balsamic
A delicious and authentically Mediterranean light lunch or small plate dish which is ideal for summer alfresco dining.
A combination of sumptuous roasted black figs, paired with the freshness of Barrata cheese and flavoured with our in-house fig-infused balsamic and wild flower honey.
Ingredients:
- 2 fresh Burrata Cheese
- 4 Sourdough slices
- Mixed Salad Leaves
- JORGE Fig-infused Balsamic Vinegar
- JORGE Quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Wild Flower Honey
- 1 handful Toasted Walnut Halves
Method:
- Heat oven to 200°C/Fan 180°C
- Halve the figs, place on a roasting tray and place into the oven for approx. 10 minutes
- Meanwhile toast the Sourdough slices and place on individual plates
- Remove the figs from the oven, drizzle over the honey and JORGE fig-infused balsamic and place back into the oven for another 5 minutes
- Tear each burrata in two and place one half over each slice of sourdough
- Remove the figs from the oven; they should be nice and sticky. Add two halves to each plate
- Dress the salad leaves with JORGE Extra-virgin Olive Oil and season, add to the plate and sprinkle over the toasted walnuts and some of the reduced balsamic.
- Serve fresh - this dish is perfect for summer alfresco dining!
